Paro Arrival – Transfer to Thimphu
Our guide will receive you at the Paro International airport and drive to Thimphu. The road journey from Paro to Thimphu offers beautiful landscapes and interesting sights along the way.
Tamchog Lhakhang Bridge:
- En route to Thimphu, stop at Tamchog Lhakhang Bridge.
- Explore the traditional iron bridge and the small temple.
Evening visit Tashichho Dzong:
- Visit Tashichho Dzong, a fortress and monastery that serves as the seat of the government.

Giant Buddha Statue (Kuensel Phodrang):
- Start your day by Visiting the Giant Buddha Statue overlooking Thimphu.
- Enjoy the panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains.
Simply Bhutan:
- Simply Bhutan is a cultural complex and living museum located in Thimphu, Bhutan. It aims to showcase and preserve the rich cultural heritage of Bhutan while providing an interactive experience for visitors.
Motithang Takin Preserve:

Thimphu – Trongsa
The distance from Thimphu to Trongsa in Bhutan is approximately 200 kilometers (about 124 miles) by road. The journey usually takes around 6 to 7 hours, depending on road conditions, traffic, and the specific route taken.
Dochula Pass:
- Start your journey to Punakha with a visit to Dochula Pass. Enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas and the 108 stupas.
Wangdue Phodrang Dzong:
